Private Residence
Canton, Ohio
Location:            Private residence in Canton, OH
Date:                    February 07, 2009
Investigators:   John, Kathy and Greg

Location Description: It is a singlewide manufactured home consisting of two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, living room,
laundry room, dining room and kitchen. There is no basement or garage. There is an attached carport.
Paranormal Activity Reported: Dale and Tina* purchased the home about 10 years ago.

Within the past year a family cat named “Sneakers” passed away. “Sneakers” was cremated and his ashes are kept in a metal tin
in Tina’s bedroom.
Dale passed away in September, 2008 in his bedroom.
A cat has been heard meowing even when there are no other cats around. This has been heard on several occasions and has been
heard by several people. The last time this occurred was December 2008. Tina and Shelley* (daughter) were sitting on the living
room sofa, with “Kitty” (family cat) between them when they both heard a loud meow coming from the center of the room.
One evening Shelley was sleeping in Tina’s bedroom when she felt something jump up on the bed. When she looked there was
nothing there. This occurred in August 2008.

A couple of months ago Tina was sleeping and forgot to set the alarm for the morning. At the time she was supposed to get up she
heard Dale calling her name and telling her to get up.

A couple of weeks ago in the evening she was in her bedroom watching television with “Kitty”, when she heard a cupboard in the
kitchen slam shut. Kitty jumped up at the time the cupboard slammed. On investigation it was discovered that the cupboard
that slammed shut was one in the laundry room. It is the cupboard she put Dale’s automatic wine opener. When Dale was alive it
was kept in the dining room.

Investigative Evidence: Investigators reviewed all the photographs, video and audio. Nothing that can be classified as
paranormal was captured on any device. There were several spikes on the K-II meter during the investigation. At this time it is
unknown what caused the spikes.

At this time it is WPI’s opinion that there is not enough evidence to classify this house as being haunted. Follow-up
investigations would be needed in an attempt to gather more concrete evidence.
