guest investigators.
History: Prospect Place is a 9500 square feet, 29-room mansion, built in 1856 -
1857 by abolitionist George William Adams. Prospect Place is located in the
Village of Trinway, which is ½ mile north of Dresden. In the 1850s and 1860s
Prospect Place was a station on the Underground Railroad. Runaway slaves were
hidden in the basement during their long trek to freedom farther north. Please

Paranormal Activity Reported: Prospect Place is said to be one of the most
haunted homes in Ohio. There have been numerous reports of paranormal
activity during the 150 years of Prospect Place existence. Prospect Place offers
public Ghost Hunts and for those daring enough, several guest rooms, where
one can spend the night. For more information on the Ghost Hunts please visit

Investigative Evidence: The investigators, along with three additional guest
investigators spent the entire night at Prospect Place, which consisted of
sleeping in three of the guest rooms. Numerous hours of video and audio were
taken, along with hundreds of photographs. Nothing out of the ordinary was
captured on any video or audio equipment, besides numerous photographs
containing “orbs” and one photo that showed a bright orb, which was different
than the other orbs that were captured. However there were several personal
experiences that occurred to several investigators.
Results of Investigation:

Details: Greg, Kathy, Allison and Steven were investigating the second floor at
the rear of the house near what was once the servant quarters. Upon
approaching the first room into the servants quarters Greg started getting a
feeling that something was in the room. Once in the room, Greg felt a “spider
web” touching the left side of his face and immediately told others to check his
face and start taking photos. This photo is of Allison checking Greg’s face for

Details: Investigators just left the first room in the servant’s quarters (see
above) and were entering another room when Allison said, her stomach is
burning. When she lifted up her shirt what appeared to be three horizontal
scratch marks were visible. The marks were red and raised as if she had been
scratched by something.
