|
Location: Private residence in Twinsburg, OH
Date: July 19, 2008
Investigators: John, Bea, Kathy, Greg and Jake
Location Description: Two-thousand, one-hundred-nineteen (2119) square foot, two story contemporary, built in 1993, consisting of a living
room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, master bedroom, master bathroom and a half bath on the first floor. Two bedrooms and one full
bath on the second floor and a finished basement. There is also a two car attached garage.
Paranormal Activity Reported: Tina and Dale* purchased the home in September 2002.
Tina stated one day her daughter Amy* was sitting on the stairs just off the living room when she started saying “Tina, Bina, Tina-Bina”. Tina
stated her grandfather, who has been deceased for 19 years, was the only person who called Tina by that pet name and no one has called her
that since his passing. When Tina asked Amy where she learned that Amy pointed to a corner in the living room and said, “from that man”.
When Tina asked what man, Amy replied “that man” and pointed to an area in the room. Amy then lifted her hands in the air and said, “oh, he’
s gone.”
One time Amy started questioning her grandma about grandpa. One of the questions she asked was if he died at home or the hospital and why
they didn’t give him more medicine.
Tina stated she “smells” her grandfather around the house sometimes. She described the smell as smelling like “sawdust”.
A statue in the master bathroom fell over the day before Amy was born while they were on the way to the hospital. It has not fallen over before
or since
Dale has not had any experiences in the house that can be classified as paranormal.
Investigative Evidence: Investigators reviewed all the photographs, video and audio. Besides the personal experiences during the séance,
nothing that can be classified as paranormal was captured. At approximately 8:45 PM a séance was conducted in bedroom #3 with John, Kathy
and Jake participating. During the séance the participants had personal experiences (feeling sick (Kathy), nausea (Kathy), chills (Kathy),
headaches (Kathy & Jake), feeling of being touched (Kathy) and John had a feeling of tremendous sorrow, so much that he began to cry. At 9:05
PM the séance concluded.
It is in WPI’s opinion that there is not enough evidence to classify this house as being haunted. Follow-up investigations would be needed in an
attempt to gather more concrete evidence.
Results of Investigation:
284 digital photographs taken.
11 hours 52 minutes of video.
